Welcome to Operation R.I.S.E. (Rebuilding Infrastructure in Service Entities), an initiative launched by the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits to gather resource information and needs assessments to facilitate efficient, effective hurricane recovery efforts in the nonprofit sector of Mississippi.

This website serves as a clearinghouse of information and resources for nonprofit organizations affected by Hurricane Katrina and anyone wanting to help the recovery effort. On www.operationrise.org, nonprofits can create profiles (click HERE) to tell their stories and categorize their needs in assessment surveys, letting the public know what they need to rebuild and survive, and also what services, if any, they are currently providing.

Foundations and other funding organizations, as well as individual donors, can search these profiles of nonprofits for appropriate recipients for funding and can create their own profiles to list themselves as sources of financial assistance if they choose.
